The Forrestdale School Guidance Program addresses children's needs through a developmental and preventative approach. Through the help of teachers and administrators, the guidance program provides a caring atmosphere which enables students to develop socially, emotionally and academically. The guidance program provides various services to enhance the quality of our students' school experiences. Some of the activities include individual and group counseling, classroom guidance visits, the character education program, crisis intervention, and academic intervention.

4th and 5th Grade students participate in Character Education Classes with Miss Copman during their six-day rotation. All students at Forrestdale have Morning Meeting during homeroom to provide a positive start to the day and promote classroom community.

If you would like to meet with Ms. Copman or Ms. Pearson, please fill out our Google FormWe will reach out to you to set up an in-person session or Google Hangout.
